• CHIN Pui-shan

    Chin is an HKCC alumna, she attained the Licentiate Diploma of Trinity College London for Piano and the Associate Diploma for Voice with distinction. She is studying voice and choral conducting under the tutelage of Apollo Wong, and actively participates in different choruses. She has received full scholarships from the Junior Music Programme of HKAPA for 3 years. Being a master student in HKU Social Work, she was the Choirmaster of Union Choir, HKUSU, and was named the 'Most Promising Young Conductor' in the Orientale Concentus IX International Choral Festival in Singapore.

  • Dominique CHAN

    Chan is an alumna of HKCC and received her Postgraduate Diploma in Performance (Voice) from Leeds College of Music. Her operatic roles included Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana; Zita in Gianni Schicchi; Hansel in Hansel & Gretel; Empress in The Poisoned Kiss; Emilia in Otello; Gertrude in Roméo et Juliette and The Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte. Chan was also invited to perform in the new chamber opera Heart of Coral (world premiere and Taipei re-run) and Datong: the Chinese Utopia (world premiere and London re-run), both commissioned and produced by Hong Kong Arts Festival. Recent performances included This Victoria Has No Secrets Blah Blah Blah with Yat Po Singers; Requiem HK with CCDC and Yat Po Singers; Gute Nacht Mondlicht, Hercules at the Crossroads with HK SingFest.

  • Michelle CHAN

    Chan graduated from HKBU and the Hong Kong Institute of Education with a Bachelor's Degree in music composition and a Master's Degree in music and gifted education. During her study, she has learnt conducting, electronic music, percussion and piano pedagogy. Chan's interest in performing arts began at an early age. She practised piano, ballet and oriental dance in childhood. She used to serve as an artist and stage manager in drama festival. In 1991 and 1994, Chan performed as a choir member with St. Gallen Orchestra in Switzerland, Germany and Poland.

  • Wendy LIN

    Lin graduated from Auckland University, New Zealand, studying piano performance with Tamas Vesmas and obtained B.Mus. (Hons.) and M.Mus. (Distinction). With a bursary, she obtained Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Northern College of Music, the UK. Lin won the second prize in the Kerikeri International Piano Competition, New Zealand. Since 2000, Lin has been the piano accompanist in HKCC. From 2001 to 2010, Lin had toured with the choir to 15 countries in Europe, Asia and Australasia. She also participated in the CD and DVD productions of HKCC & Friends, With Love from Hong Kong, Choral Music Around the World, Children's Chorisma and 35th Anniversary Musical Hong Kong Rocks. Lin is a guest piano instructor at The Education University of Hong Kong.

  • Ernest HUI

    Hui is an alumus of HKCC. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and studied vocal with Ms Chan Siu-kwan. He was the Music Coach and Resident Composer of the Hong Kong Melody Makers and had travelled and performed with the group extensively. His work was recorded and published in the CUHK Music Department's 50th Anniversary Celebration CD "Ad Excellentiam". Hui is now an artist represented by Apple Tree Music Publishing Ltd. He is also the Music Director and Conductor of the Macao Cultural Centre Children's Choir.

  • Peony LEUNG

    Leung began her piano and choral training at HKCC at a young age and has obtained her Grade 8 Vocal and Advanced Certificate in Piano by ABRSM with distinction. She graduated from HKAPA with a major in composition and has received her musical training under Ms Grace Lau, Ms Hui Ling, Ms Yim Wan in piano and Ms Katusha Tsui in vocal. She is currently a piano, vocal and choral tutor. She is also active in local music activities including The Hong Kong Youth Choir. Leung has taken part in their solo and choral performances.

  • Veronica CHEUNG

    Cheung has completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Music at the University of Kingston, the UK and Master's degree at Hong Kong Baptist University. She has achieved the certificate of Music Education for Secondary school at Hong Kong Institute of Education and studied the Music Theatre course at Guildford School of Acting, the UK. Cheung is trained in vocal, flute, choral conducting, composing and piano. She has also attained the diploma of ATCL in Vocal Performance of Trinity, diploma of LTCL in Piano of Trinity and Grade 8 in Vocal Singing, Theory and Piano from ABRSM. She is currently the head of the music department in a secondary school and chorus member of Hong Kong Opera House.

  • Vanessa WONG

    Wong is an HKCC's alumna and had performed in the Farewell Ceremony of the last HK Governor, Chris Patten in 1997. She was thrice awarded scholarship by Tai Po Art and Cultural Community when she was studying at the Education University of HK (EdUHK) as an undergraduate. She attained her master degree with credit from EdUHK, under the tutelage of Dr Pauline Wong, Dr Annie Mok and Miss Jovita Leung in vocal music and conducting. She participated in workshops conducted by maestros, such as Dr Cheung Sing-pok and Professor Kare Hanken. She also joined the Taipei International Choral Festival. Wong is a school music teacher and had led the school choir to win a number of prizes, including champions and 1st runners-up in Interschool Music Festivals.
