SideBySide Charity Concert 2025

SideBySide hosted the SideBySide Charity Concert 2025 on 27 April at AC Hall, Hong Kong Baptist University. This concert is a charity music event celebrating the vibrant essence of Chinese music, aiming to raise essential funds for non-subvented youth support services, including career planning, entrepreneurship training, mental health support, and crime prevention education.
Under the baton of HKCC Music Director and Principal Conductor Ms Kathy FOK, Concert Choir members performed several songs, including Drops in the Yellow River composed by Mr NG Cheuk-yin, as well as a jazz reinterpretation of the Cantonese nursery rhyme Bluesy Moonlight. The concert concluded with the song Good Morning Hong Kong, composed by Dr Steve Ho,the composer in residence of HKCC, bringing a joyful ending to the event.
