SAM HUI PLAY HARD SING HARD LIVE 2024

The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited to perform with Mr Sam Hui in the SAM HUI PLAY HARD SING HARD LIVE 2024 at Hong Kong Coliseum from 30 March to 1 April. More than 100 HKCC members from Intermediate 3 participated in the concert, and their performance was highly appreciated by the audience and guests.
Together with Sam Hui, HKCC members in school uniform performed the rearranged version of his four iconic songs, including Sing Along and Student's Song, transporting the audience back to their student days. Afterwards, Hui paid tribute to the late martial arts master Bruce Lee, with 30 members of Chamber Boys performing in Kung Fu uniform while showcasing their punching technique, winning applause from the audience.
Invitation to perform in this concert followed the first-ever choral concert of Sam Hui's iconic works presented by HKCC last year. The Cantopop master graced the choral concert with his presence and was impressed by HKCC's effort and our members' remarkable performance.
On the last night of the show, Sam commended the performance of HKCC members and congratulated its 55th anniversary. "It's a pleasure to collaborate with the members of The Hong Kong Children's Choir,' he said. "They did their best to learn my songs and delivered an enchanting and beautiful performance. I hope they will continue to pass on the tradition of Cantopop to future generations. Congratulations to the Hong Kong Children's Choir on its 55th anniversary, and I wish there are many more to come!"
