Mini-Concerts 2023 (17 December)

Three mini-concerts performed by classes of Preparatory C and D, Intermediate 1C and 2I, and Senior E were held on 17 December in the Recital Hall of HKCC's West Kowloon Centre.
The first concert, "The Sound of Music Medley", was performed by nearly one hundred members from Preparatory C and D and Intermediate 1C, featuring well-known pieces like Do-Re-Mi, My Favorite Things, and Edelweiss, as well as other carefully selected pieces. The audience were all mesmerised by the performance.
In the afternoon, members from Intermediate 2I presented the concert "My Name is Music". The concert featured a wide variety of songs, including the up-beat titled song My Name is Music. They also performed several well written Cantonese songs and delightful English pieces including Around the World with Disney. The concert ended with cheers and applause.
In the final mini-concert, members from Senior E gave an impressive performance, performing multiple songs of different styles, including the classic rock and blues song Rock Around the Clock and several religious pieces from different periods: Antonio Vivaldi's Laudamus Te, John Rutter's I Will Sing with the Spirit and Mark Hayes's Dry Bones. Their dedication and remarkable performance received thunderous applause, marking an end of this year's mini-concert series.
