Concert of celebration of 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland & 33th Anniversary of Friends of Hong Kong Association

The Hong Kong Children's Choir was invited by the Friends of Hong Kong Association to perform in the "Concert of celebration of 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland & 33th Anniversary of Friends of Hong Kong Association" on 21 June at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall.
Chairman of the Friends of Hong Kong Association Henry Tang, the then Chief Executive Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive taking office in July John Lee and the Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR Tan Tieniu delivered speeches at the beginning of the concert. World-renowned musicians and singers, as well as Hong Kong Orchestra, were invited to perform in the concert too. HKCC members from Intermediate 2J and 3I presented This is Our Home and Tomorrow will be Better as the last performance of the concert, and joined hands with all guest performers to present Below the Lion Rock and Ode to Motherland at the finale.
