Christmas Concert in the Park – Our Music Journey

Organized by RTHK Radio 4 as one of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the "Christmas Concert in the Park – Our Music Journey," took place on Christmas Eve, 24 December, at the Olympic Square in Hong Kong Park. The concert featured performances by The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC), the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, and several distinguished vocalists, performing classical masterpieces uniquely rearranged by the renowned local musician Ng Cheuk-yin. This concert provided the public with an extraordinary Christmas celebration.
Under the baton of Francis Kan, the orchestra and vocalists presented a medley of classical pieces during the first half of the concert. In the second half, HKCC Senior F and Senior G joined in to perform a Christmas Medley rearranged from a series of popular Christmas songs. The audience also sang along enthusiastically with the choristers, and the concert concluded with a joyful encore Hallelujah.
