Chill 11 "Happy Dance Moves"

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organised Chill 11 at the AsiaWorld-Expo from 23 December to 26 December. The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited to perform a show called Happy Dance Moves on 24 December. Members from Hip Hop and Jazz classes appeared in unique costumes and showcased energetic dances to the lively beats.
Members from Jazz Dance kicked off the show with their performances of Shake the Room and Sea Cruise. Moving their bodies to the rhythm, the group members demonstrated the elegance and fluidity of jazz dance.
Members from Hip Hop then performed seven selections of the dance piece Feel the Funk, with some wearing clogging shoes to showcase their footwork skills and coordination for kicks and slides, and some wearing suspenders and knee pads to present a playful street dance performance.
HKCC members presented a variety of spectacular performances, receiving thunderous applause with cheers from the audience. The charm of dance must have been felt by everyone who participated in the show!
