Dance Drama ¡§Goddess¡EHoroscope¡EZodiac¡¨ kicked off
HKCC¡¦s 40th anniversary celebrations

2009 is a particularly joyful year as HKCC celebrates its 40th anniversary. We open by launching the large-scale dance drama¡§Goddess¡EHoroscope¡EZodiac¡¨ on Jan 3-4 which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Near 1000 members from the dance programme were involved in the three performances at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium. Transformed into goddess, spirits of the sun and the moon, angels and various kinds of animals, insects and plants, our little dancers delivered the legend of the world creation and the selection of the twelve zodiac animals by their exquisite dancing.

The dance drama this year was on the largest scale involving the greatest number of members ever. Elements of Chinese dance, ballet, modern dance, tap dance and jazz dance were combined altogether in the performances, providing an unparalleled and fabulous visual experience to all. The dance drama ended with thunderous applause and kicked off the year-round celebrations of a significant landmark for HKCC - the 40th anniversary of its founding.
